Welcome to Hi Films

I have been developing Hi Films now for over five years. In that time I have completed a wide variety of films both as a single producer and also as a lead producer within a large team. I have always had a passion for film and strive to produce high quality professional video for everyone to enjoy.

I originally qualified in drama, and after receiving my degree in Theatre I moved onto work in television with ITV on A Touch of Frost and Heartbeat. This experience gave me an invaluable understanding of the production processes whilst helping me to build a network of contacts within the broadcast industry.

I have also worked with young people teaching drama and media production in schools across Yorkshire. This work was highly rewarding, enabling me to pass on my skills whilst providing a critical media audience at all times.

I am a self-taught Final Cut Pro X editor and digital video producer working with SD and HD video. The technology used is all broadcast standard, favoured by many industry companies including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 and many other large corporations including 20th Century Fox.
